+ no strict process followed during SDLC.

3) you will learn how to work independently

Cons – 1) sometimes you need to butter your manager to get good hikes(It depnds on your manager)
2) people will work on outdated technologies
3) company rules getting stricter day by day in last one year they took out cabs benefit .
4) Intial pay will be decent after that no hikes

Cons – Lack of clear goals at higher management level
Lack of accountability in case of project delays or failures

Advice to Senior Management – Convert the company wide goals to meaningful task oriented goals for your reportees and followup on them
The company is steering away from the path of being a technology driven company to be busy with obscure goals of day-to-day firefighting customer issues, please have a check on that.

Pros – Many people are technically oriented, will get to learn a lot. Work culture is good. no hierarchy, good work life balance.

Cons – Not many new projects. Lots of maintenance work. Will not get to learn new technologies. Does not pay well these days.

Advice to Senior Management – Management was doing a good job interms of regular day to day tracking. Only problem is that some managers are technically not sound, so will not understand the challenges faced by the developers.
