    Pros

Good training program. Every day is something different. Nice bonus plan, unlimited potential. Bank holidays.

    Cons

    Micromanaged at times.
High-deductible health plan is only option.
    Working some Saturdays is required.
Sometimes your limited as to when you can take your vacation, as adequate branch coverage is always needed.

    Pros

PNC recognizes their employees that exemplify outstanding work every year.

    Cons

Each branch is different I sometimes feel as if management and those that sit at the top doesn't care.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at PNC Financial Services Group full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

generally seem to vet out candidates and bring good people into company. comfortable workplace with very respectable benefits. super conservative company that isn't likely to surprise you with big changes or changes of course.

    Cons

good people are lost due to better paying competition, as if company takes on job of recruiting, training for others. mobility in company is available but often slow.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

incent your subordinates as much as possible to keep performance up. if you can't pay them more, give them a sense of being able to improve their position through hard work. otherwise, the best will leave for better advancement or pay.
