    Pros

    Great company with good benefits. Training and resources to do the best job are provided. If you are organized, motivated, with good interpersonal skills, you will go far. Must be willing and able to work on your own, follow guidelines and achieve set goals. Good started job. It will teach you a lot of good values and work ethics.

    Cons

    It takes a lot of hours planning and organizing. The more you accomplish, the more they want from you. It never ends, until you are stressed out or burnt out.

    At some point management needs to understand that there is a limit to a person's time and endurance.

    Great job! I used to get many thank you notes from CEO, vice-president and dept heads. Those thank you notes helped me to work harder and appreciate that I worked for a great company!

    Pros

    Excellent pay and benefits. I received leadership training along with safety training, which I use to this day. I am looking for another job where the benefits can be as outstanding as they were from this company.

    Cons

    Working in a tobacco environment can be annoying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I had a lot of off time once I worked my way up to it. Week of the 4th and Christmas week were automatic with pay even if you were not employed for a long length of time. Time off was great and benefits were too. Compensation package such as severance pay was great after the company closed.

    As a salaried employee we had great pay and benefits. We were allowed to function with a great deal of autonomy and never were micro-managed.

    Since it is such a big company, you some times feel as you are merely a number.

    Excellent training
    Promotional opportunities with determination, dedication and hard work
    Top salary and great benefits

    Personally, I started out as a sales representative and was promoted 7 different times. I moved to 5 different states with my final destination being at corporate headquarters in marketing. When I was hired, very few women were in management positions with even fewer women willing to relocate their family. Times have changed and opportunity is up to the individual's passion and hard work. Raises are mainly based on merit and PM has a great 401K.

    Corporate politics - you do work for a large corporation!

    I had 14 years with this company,enjoyed my time there,great environment,nice employees,excellent benefits.

    Cons

    They don't rehire former employees with years of experience with medical problems,but yet we worked for them with the medical problems and had no problem preforming the jobs that was required by us!

    REHIRE US FORMER EMPLOYEES THAT HAS THE REQUIRED TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMPANY !!! WE NEED A JOB TOO !!!
