I have been working at Protegrity full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

This is a core technology company and hence I get a lot of technical exposure. Since I am responsible for overall India team building and management, it is a very good opportunity for me to step up in my career and accept more challenging responsibilities

    Cons

The frills associated typically with large companies are missing

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None that I can think of now

I worked at Protegrity full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people, although when crunch time comes the atmosphere can become toxic. Very personable atmosphere when crunch time IS NOT underway. Good mixture of Americans and foreign nationals that get along quite well as the worker level.

    Cons

Upper management is often out of touch as absentee owners appear to not quite understand the nuances of the business. Upper management seems more interested in the bonus and commission of a sale rather than the actual dedication to the customer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take advantage of the brain power of the peons and don't depend on the skewed viewpoints of out of touch upper management.

    Pros

Work from home. Good base salary, some friendly helpful people

    Cons

No training, no support from management, no positive motivation. Not the best experience unfortunately.

I have been working at Protegrity

    Pros

    Extremely bright and talented team
You can have direct and immediate impact on company direction
Global company with R&D offices in US, Sweden and China

    Cons

It is a small software company, thus this is a place for creative self starters who will put in the necessary effort to get the job done. It is not a place for slackers or incompetents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing!
