Calcutta

Current Employee – been working at PwC full-time for more than 3 years

ProsSuperb services to employees, good salary structure and nice office environment. Also provides night car drop facilities. Salary is excellent as per standards in Kolkata.

ConsToo much work pressure and no regard for employee's personal life. Too much monotonous work and no such audit experience gained. Slowly becoming more Bengali centric.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry concentrating more on Quality than Quantity!! If concentration is less on booking of hours, the work quality will improve drastically and the escalations would also reduce.

Gurgaon, Haryana

Former Employee – worked at PwC full-time for more than 3 years

ProsGlobal best practices shared; HR tries to maintain transparency; some best in class peers, good culture in some business units; if you are lucky and can find a good partner your growth would be unlimited; good training programs in some creas

ConsPartner is the king and thus your career depends a lot on his whims and fancies; although firm is very global, opportunities are limited to the local office and depends a lot on the nature of the project; in consulting work life balance is difficult to maintain

Advice to Senior ManagementCreate a system through which a consultant or a junior staff can also have a say in his work profile and assessment; a feed back mechanism for senior staff should be put in place in order to create transparency

Company is growing as straight building not as tree. I mean only same people get promoted yearly one above other.

Advice to Senior ManagementGrow like tree and respect other people talents.
