    Pros

Big Brand name! May provide a good exposure to people coming from small cities in India.

    Cons

Lacks the qualities of a huge Multi national company, to much focus on cost cutting through not paying better salaries or perks than its competitors in India whereas Partners/ED tend to waste more money on unplanned strategies or program. High attrition rate is the indication of this factor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Effective People management is important for your growth in India. Focus on it.

Breaking News: Bearing Point wears the PwC mask and fools people!

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    I worked at PwC

    Pros

    If only there was one...

    Cons

-> This no PwC, people. This is Bearing Point. From culture (if there is any) to everything else screams out Bearing Point. Period.
-> Holier-than-thou attitude of the HR guys - Seriously, if you want to know what condescension is all about, HR Department at PwC SDC Bangalore is where you should go.
-> Almost everything needs to be approved by the "TOP LEVEL MANAGEMENT". What are the team managers for? Approving leaves?
-> People from all departments harp of "procedures" and "process-in-place". Sure there are procedures, none of which are well-established. PwC SDC is like an order-less Government office.

I could go on, but, PwC SDC is not worth spending too much time on. If you don't want to damage your self-esteem, you'd be better off being at a safe distance from this place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'm sure they have their "procedures" and "processes-in-place" and would not be too willing or flexible enough to take suggestions, let alone an advice.

I have been working at PwC full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Haven't got offer to list out pros but good interview panel and enjoyed the interview.

    Cons

Very Slow interview process and no updates from hr team .
Needs a lot follow up , they just ignore your emails .
In terms of pay, me in specific have asked for a reasonable hike based on the reviews i had seen earlier.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be good if you can provide updates or reply to the job seekers on time. Ignoring would feel pity inspite of big brand name it maintains in market.
