Current Employee – been working at Real Time Resolutions full-time for less than a year
Pros – Pay. Good work/life balance, flexible schedule and hours. Business is flourishing in light of the downturn and surplus of sub prime mortgage debt. Company is growing by leaps and bounds and promotes primarily from within. Casual dress code. Can listen to head phones while working. Genuinly tries to help borrowers and help resolve debt. Interesting work in certain departments. Given a good deal of autonomy and enjoy a laid back atmosphere. Just moved into a nice office building.
Cons – Some tasks can become monotonous.
Advice to Senior Management – None yet.

Former Employee – worked at Real Time Resolutions as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – Decent starting Salary for a recent college graduate which is $30k a year plus over time and commission. Nice people, they do company lunches, unlimited coffee, laid back environment, casual fridays.
Cons – Management Sucks, no real structure, the VP's are rude and they sexually harass the women in there. Have to kiss a lot of butt to get promoted.
The training sucks.
The collections position was monotonous.
Advice to Senior Management – Care about all of your workers. Invest more time in training, to get a better worker

Former Employee – worked at Real Time Resolutions
Pros – Like previous said, you'll learn a ton about mortgages in training and they give you a decent idea of what to expect.
Cons – Absurd amounts of downtime and you aren't allowed to do anything during it. Can't even read a book. The day before I quit, there was probably 5 hours of collective downtime through the day. It's mind-numbing, and they expect you to look totally attentive to your job when this makes it SO easy to space out.
Advice to Senior Management – Allow the workers to actually do something when they aren't receiving a call.

Current Employee – been working at Real Time Resolutions
Pros – laid back workplace, lots of feedback from supervisor, high level of autonomy
Cons – poor communication between top management and mid management. Office building is old and leaky
Advice to Senior Management – better compensation, better communication.

Former Employee – worked at Real Time Resolutions
Pros – Their training program will teach you a lot about mortgages, delinquent accounts, and foreclosures. This experience will also help the collector to grow callous to rejection and negative feedback from the people you contact.
Cons – Management encourages aggressive and hostile tactics in order to recover past due money on homes that are in or near foreclosure.
Advice to Senior Management – Management needs to shorten the training program and also focus in on a more methodical, and palatable, approach to the borrowers they contact. As the old saying goes, "You can catch more fly's with honey than vinegar."
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Real Time Resolutions
Pros – Relaxed work environment, tons of young coworkers, casual dress code, fun environment, paid time off, fun company wide activities, contests
Cons – you dont get paid anything, your looked at as property, the building is way over packed and falling apart, you have to park blocks away because the building is so overpacked, no promotions, the pay is awfull, 1% raise after a year of working for them
Advice to Senior Management – pay more, pay higher commision, require better ethical standards, have better training program in place, have better corporate structure, offer more incentives to retain employees,

Current Employee – been working at Real Time Resolutions
Pros – The environment for the most part is very relaxed. Don't have to work too hard to keep a job here.
Cons – Not properly rewarded for all the hard work that is done. Some of the upper level management are not professional.
Advice to Senior Management – Treat your employees better. Do not think you are so high and matter. Come down off your horse and do work instead of constantly talking to each other about unnecessary topics.

Former Employee – worked at Real Time Resolutions
Pros – You have a degree and can't find something better, many of the people are nice, fun holidays
Cons – So-so pay, funky structure, lots of arbitrariness in decision-making (runs like a mom & pop business even though it's grown past that)
Advice to Senior Management – Behave more professionally while retaining the sometimes fun atmosphere
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
