    ProsGood place for freshers to start .
    No one knows what to do ? so freshers can experiment ?
    For long runners . Learn a piece of software and do that work for years to come . Aviation industry never changes.

    Advice to Senior ManagementAge old management techniques need to improve.
    This is for all the corporates . Take emplyee as an indicudual not as an number .
    Every individual has 3 categories The brahma (creators, design, coding ) the Vishnu (the preservor, mainteiners, legacy code ) the Shiva ( the destroyer, integrators, delivery ). Tey to find out each in the indivdual and find his interest in . Put him according to what he is comfortable.

    Good Pay, Good Work, Great learning , no work life balance and many dysfunctions in the teams

    ProsGood Pay, Good learning and get good work to apply what has been learnt.

    ConsNo Work Life balance, HR doesn't have the minimum idea of employees needs. Managers are biased, have favouritism, Leads/ Manager behave like despotic. Higher management unable to fix the issues , though they get feed back from the employees. Growth is seen to the employees who are more close to the managers than the talented people. More importance to the people who are mediocre. This company is not the right place for people who are aspiring to grow in their career. HR restricts from applying to the internal job postings , which is biggest flaw. No retention policy, nor do they discuss, why are the resources leaving the organisation. No transparency. Nurtures the outdated talent, gives importance to the old without knowledge using a sentence "Experience". opportunity for old rather than the capable.

    Advice to Senior ManagementThey have to control the attrition. If management thinks that they are not having a problem with the attrition, with continuous attrition, it becomes difficult for them deliver things on time. Think about the work life balance. The whole team becomes victim to the fancies of the Manager. wrong people and the right places are making the things worst.

    Managers have to work towards the reducing the attrition rate.

    Great Learning but immature and inexperienced management makes it hard

    Flexible timings
    reasonably good salaries, decent benefits (medical LTA etc..,)
    comparitively High basic
    Top notch aerospace work you wont get in other private companies
    Great System Engineering work

    Cons- make you to sign bond for onsite travel.
    - managers are immature,
    - no steady HR dept.
    - lot of parity in salaries. Fresher will be earning more than experienced sometimes
    - watch out if you have more than 3-4 years experience and want to join.

    Advice to Senior ManagementStop middle/micro management. Focus on growth
    Give some respect to experienced folks.

    Organization has great values, just that they are two generations old

    Accepts change (slow and steady)

    ConsHas a long way to go to be a true Global organization. If you are working at Rockwell Collins India Design Center, be prepared to be treated like a contractor

    Advice to Senior ManagementI would say organization needs some new gen management. It has too many processes which sometimes are bottlenecks. Also, if managers learn to treat its manpower as "Engineers" rather than replaceable resources, it can get a lot good in return.
