    Pros

Great opportunities for growth, Company is overall a fun environment, The people are wonderful, Bagel Friday, Sample Sale, Company is currently setting great future goals which is promising

    Cons

Underpaid!, My current pay is based on position and not experience (I have a year+ more experience compared to others that I work with), No more free snacks, Taking advantage of creative contracts, Lots of open positions and people leaving

    Advice to Management

Don't take advantage of young contractors, just to let them go in a few months–Leaving full-time employees to struggle.

    Pros

A great place to get a job after college or if you're senior management. The company does promote and gives you opportunity to move to different departments. The people that work there are great.

    Cons

They are extremely low in terms of salary - across the board. And they demand you work more and get paid less and are very unwilling to reevaluate pay structures.

    Advice to Management

Learn to keep the people there that want to be there by valuing them, or the turn over rate will continue to be a problem.

  6. Intense and fun

    Cons

Not always focused I the right things, priority shifts too often, teams are not always aligned

    Advice to Management

    Pros

The benefits package here is decent by standards, or as HR says "Rich"; HR is working to correct or "right-size" that "problem".

    Cons

Turnover is very high in hourly and management positions. Company direction is ever changing. Management Employees do not get competitive perks in the marketplace. There are two sets of benefits/levels. The photo studio has the Boston package and receives more holidays and perks than the management who get the Kentucky package. This creates a cultural challenge and the studio has strong feelings of entitlement.

    Advice to Management

Realign the rules; if you are in Kentucky you fall under Kentucky policy and holiday schedules. Get a handle on competencies and get management to agree on a direction. Everyone has ideas for improvement and you get started on one and then the direction is changed by a different member of management. More incentives/bonus for management. The focus on recognition for anniversaries and achievement is solely focused on the non-exempt employees. It feels like management doesn't matter.

    Pros

    Flexible hours
    Decent to good benefits
    Nice perks
    Great employee culture

    Cons

Poor productivity and general tools to do your job.
Tech Infrastructure needs major overhaul, more time needs to be spent on improving the backend instead of the front-end.
Retail environment (Holidays are just like working in a department store, hectic and stressful all around)
Upper management can be shaky, but as I was leaving it seemed to be improving

    Advice to Management

HR needs to be a little more formal. The company has gotten bigger than the laid back feel of it.
Police some of your managers better. You definitely get negative vibes from some. Have heard stories before AND after leaving.
Improve your hardware core. It's giving your IT staff nightmares.
