    Good learning and Career growth

    Lead Software Engineer (Current Employee) Bangalore

    ProsOpportunity to learn Cloud , SaaS , Multitenancy architectures etc.
    We get to work with a fun and smart set of people.
    After the SAP acquisition, it has become even more apparent that Cloud is the preferred strategy for SAP and hence, growth of the SuccessFactors products and teams has been accelerated.

    ConsVery hectic. Software release schedules are so tightly planned that, there is not much buffer to deal with unplanned vacation/emergencies etc.

    Advice to Senior ManagementHR needs to be people centric and approachable to employees. HR should know how to deal with engineers and people from diverse backgrounds.

    Autocratic and Selfish Management - After acquisition it is "I" and not "WE" from India Leaders

    ProsStill have some good colleagues left..have been working here for 2 years but slowly seeing technically strong people hired earlier leaving. Hiring standards have gone down drastically.

    Good products and great customers. But miss the company i joined.

    ConsPoor facility, security double up as facility and try to police, no transport for employees, no democracy and always double standards

    Favoritism prevails and succeeds. Regionalism is at its peak. Not recommended.

    Advice to Senior ManagementStop favoritism and open eyes.. provide better facilities and better work environment and better place for employees. Hire technical managers and technical stalwarts rather than friends.

    Was a Good Place before SAP acquisition; Slowly turning to be a service based company as SAP

    Good team of Talent Suit experts in the cloud.
    Management team was small and encouraging to the last level of the employee.
    Was a good pay master.

    ConsNo more a place to work as a team to deliver and engage in company growth after SAP acquisition.
    Attrition rate has been the highest after acquisition.
    Average paymaster.

    Everything but work-culture and facility is good

    Pros- Smart people to work with
    - ample opportunities to learn new things
    - very open in adapting technologies
    - Annual outing :)

    Cons- Very poor facility
    - not a very great work-culture
    - too many processes being introduced these days
