    Pros

In the community where I am, the team is well intended and cares about the residents.

    Pros

Core Values and Principles of Service keep focus on team members and residents, competitive pay and benefits, great place to be if you have a passion for the work, good leadership at several levels, comprehensive training available

    Cons

May not be a good experience for team members who don't have a passion for serving others, emotionally demanding work that can be draining if you don't maintain work/life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

continue to improve support to communities by adding resources, modernizing tools, update some of the older training modules

I worked at Sunrise Senior Living

    Pros

Sunrise has a wonderful training program and seeks from within for promotions. I had a lot of wonderful experiences to enhance my knowledge, some that included travel across the United States. Overall the time and money spent on training team members is very impressive compared to other companies in the industry.

    Cons

As in many large organizations it is difficult to voice opinions to upper and senior level management. There was a huge change in overall culture when the original CEO's Paul and Terry Klaassen stepped down from everyday activities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Community level management experienced high turnover due to burnout.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
