    Yes, its a good one

    Software Engineer (Former Employee) Pune

ProsLeadership management and HR are supportive but you have to be in touch of them.
Lots of Onsite opportunities for long term and as well as short term. Pune campus is awesome in rainy season. for trainees or campus hire, its a good one to explore the skill in various technologies. Good company for vertical employees like SOG, SAP...
They know how to deal with experienced people...

ConsSandwich policy for leaves, No schedule for bench people. For freshers, it could be like jumping from one technology to another in very frequent manner but you can deny for that as well.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo something for bench people.. utilize them for cross training or can use them as a trainer for freshers (if experienced)

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Good place to start career & great place to join as laterals

    Software Engineer (Current Employee) Pune

ProsAs a fresher Syntel gives you a great platform to start your career. Freshers are generally entrusted here with important responsibilities compared to other companies. Laterals find it a bit easy to come into Syntel & and are handsomely paid. Syntel is also not a company that looks harshly at its average performing employees. Syntel comes across as a company trying to prove itself in a highly compitetive IT market.

ConsSyntel gives oppurtunity to display talent but strangely fails to respect the talent and award them good compensations. High performing people don't get any incentive to keep repeating their performance. Employee performance management isn't robust. No importance or stress on employee and his/her satisfaction.

Advice to Senior ManagementRespect your employees & trust them better. Try to retain your performing talent and groom them for leadership roles.

Its still early days but people are accomodating and helpful

Assistant Manager PreSales (Current Employee) Mumbai

ProsGrowing comapny means a lot of opportunities
At a mid senior level, great decsion taking freedom provided
