I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Base salary is good for an entry level position and if you are good in sales, you can make a good amount of money. This job is also good if you want to climb the corporate ladder. There are plenty of opportunities do so if you show that is the direction you want to go while you are employed there

    Cons

the only bad thing about working here is you have to work most weekends but at the same time that is when you make a good amount of your commissions

I have been working at T-Mobile part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Very good benefit package for part time and full time employees. The company pays very good for this type of position, you can make your own pay check according to your sales skills. As well plenty of room to get promoted within the company if done the proper way.

    Cons

Less pressure on some metrics considering that the company advertises a 50 dollar plan and then you have to push the most expensive plan

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

good keep it up Mr. Legere

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good commission structure. Great health and phone benefits. Lots of paid time off. Good opportunities to move up.

    Cons

Systems are extremely slow at times and the software is full of issues. They keep updating it but it only seems to get worse. Stock from customer care & online orders is different from in store stock so it's hard to interact with the 2. While there are great advancement opportunities, sometimes it's a game of politics and who knows who. (As in most places I'm sure).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please hire smart. So tired of seeing managers get hired with little or no experience. Or others promoted because the DM knew them when there is so much qualified tenured talent.

I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I really loved all my co-workers. Every boss you have cared about you in at least some way. The work is easy and the pay is good.

    Cons

Dealing with angry idiot customers all day wears on everyone. Sitting all day is not for me. Everything is metrics based. It's easy to game the metrics and do great but I still found them silly. Being listened in on is not comfortable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I felt like I would never get off the phones even with a great background and education. So I left. I wish you guys were comfortable getting rid of the <15% of customers that cause all the problems but pay very little. Send them to verizon. Customer satisfaction would go up and income will stay the same.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Work Life Balance, Flexible Scheduling, great opportunity to make a good commissions check. Now they have a more relaxed dress code that includes jeans an T-Shirt.

    Cons

Working here means you have little to no weekends. Holiday hours can be a pain. Sometimes management doesn't have a clue on what is going on. District managers are the worst, do not care about the associates at all only want them to produce numbers or get out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out what your employees need from you to succeed, don't just push customers out of the store who have issues.
