    Pros

    Good work life balance.
    Direct customer interaction.
    Good initial pay.
    MNC kind environment and culture.

    Cons

Lacks minimum basic facilities such as Parking.
No Place to sit for the employees. No dedicated work stations. New joiners have to adjust somewhere on the floor.
    Food is horrible in cafereria.
Pathetic managers, they do nothing other than politics.
Bonus and hikes are going down every year.
No events in the name of cost cutting.
    No rewards and recognitions.
    No process is followed.
    No quality code is written.
    Deadly shift timings.
Almost everyday calls with US clients.
Total fixing in IJPs (Internal job postings). They open requisition for IJP only for formality.
No fun at work nor in the office.
Recuriting lot of freshers to increase profits (by charing back to onshore), hence quality is degraded.
    And many more..................

I worked at UnitedHealth Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good compensation, HR processes are strong, Appreciation to employees for good work

    Cons

Stressful Work Environment. No Work Life Balance. Managers held employees down the line responsible for events which are out of control. Unrealistic timelines and targets. Expect the employees to work 24/7. Managers torture the employees and people down the line are compelled to leave the job. The system used is outdated making it difficult for the new employees to adapt it. Poor infrastructure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on Planning to achieve the Targets timely and understand what it means to be "Being Human"....

I have been working at UnitedHealth Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    1. Work from home is a good option but it is good only if you have a good manager.
    2. Most of the work is done by freshers and seniors just sit idle. So its good if you join as an experienced person.
    3. Quality of work done at onshore is much better than what is done at offshore.
    4. Good pay but the pay becomes stagnant after sometime.

    Cons

    1. For freshers the shift timings are from 11 to 8.30 but for seniors it is 11 to 5.30.
    2. Promotion is given if you can play politics and not if you work with full dedication.
    3. Your managers get good pay but they never help you in getting rewards. Increments are very less.
    4. Your manager thinks that he/she has a life but you don't have the right to live your life even on weekends. They want you to waste your useful time on some stupid work that they themselves cannot take up.
    5. Make sure you never work under a female manager else your life will get ruined and you will always regret joining UHG. Lady managers throw stupid tantrums and you have to deal with their mood swings and the next day they will behave as if nothing wrong has happened.
    6.Loads of politics.
7.People are sweet on your face and later on they might back stab you.
    8. I personally experienced a lot of politics during my very first alignment to a project.
    9. Seniors do not have the sense to treat the freshers properly.
10.Flexibility to change a simple project is very very less.
    11. No challenging work and no learning after a certain period.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Seniors,Managers and freshers should be treated equally in terms of work assignment, respect and visibility.
    2. Flexibility to change projects and move into your area of interest should be more.
    3. Pay should increase after a certain period.
    4. Give training to managers to treat their subordinates properly and have fun events so that the employee feels motivated.
