I worked at Walt Disney Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Of global operations (excludes India operations):
    1. Fantastic quality of management
    2. Remarkable coherence on IP led strategic growth

    Cons

    Of India operations
    1. Low-level self-serving management in India
    2. Continuing lack of strategic IP led growth

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sorry but you all failed to build a Disney in India. Got some volume on revenues? I can bet my money, its all tactical with no strategic builds.

For a quick win you lost your chance and let low-level studio folks run your business. Clean it up Disney. I hope you do.

I have been working at Walt Disney Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

internal transfer opportunities at corporate between many lines of business, unparalleled heritage in entertainment industry, interesting growth potential in international markets; culture is generally positive and upbeat on the surface

    Cons

true to american corporate culture, the company is afraid of change especially letting go of underperformance which breeds incompetence and laziness; work life balance is possible, depends on how much you'd personally like to put in. executives work around the clock more or less; compensation matches market, at best
