    Pros

    Great brand
Slightly better than average industry salaries
Good exposure if you are able to network with counterparts outside India

Day to day work is ridden with politics in the India office
Internal networking is important for career growth
Very little connect with global post acquisition of UTV

    Pros

Of global operations (excludes India operations):
    1. Fantastic quality of management
    2. Remarkable coherence on IP led strategic growth

    Cons

    Of India operations
    1. Low-level self-serving management in India
    2. Continuing lack of strategic IP led growth

    Advice to Management

Sorry but you all failed to build a Disney in India. Got some volume on revenues? I can bet my money, its all tactical with no strategic builds.

For a quick win you lost your chance and let low-level studio folks run your business. Clean it up Disney. I hope you do.

    Pros

Great floor leads and managers in merchandise locations. I worked in the busiest store at Disneyland, and work was always fun and exciting even on the craziest of days. Lots of opportunities to create magical moments for guests and families. Easy to get days off and switch shifts. Point system for sick/late days is fair. Free admission is a huge plus.

    Cons

Low pay because the company knows people like working for Disney. You definitely work there because of the environment, not for the paycheck. Fortunately I was just there for an internship, and wasn't trying to support more than just myself with the pay.

    Advice to Management

Full time employees can sometimes look down upon the interns that come to work there every semester. Encouraging those employees to welcome the interns would make a world of difference.
