Its all in the Name...

Financial Analyst (Former Employee)
Hyderābād

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

ProsExcellent Facility..thats the only saving grace

ConsSalaries...In this age of ever increasing prices your salary is very very less..salaries only for IT is good...operations salaries are the worst..peanuts are better than the salaries..Work culture is you butter your higher level you will get anything you want..HR does nothing just listens to you and is back at ignoring your concerns...Employees are treated like bonded labourers

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease do not focus on taking team members to outings instead think how are they making a living, how are they managing their expenses with such meagre salaries. Infrastructure is important but your Employee should be your priority, less salaries then washing their eyes by taking them for outings not the right way to treat them. You make the employees stretch, they dont maintain a work-life balance, they dont get paid for the extra hours put in..lots of injustice meted out each day.. Role changes procedures the worst of all..Please look into it.

Wells Fargo Salt Lake City is TERRIBLE!!!

Phone Banker (Former Employee)
Salt Lake City

I worked at Wells Fargo part-time for more than a year

ProsIf I could give no stars, I would. The only pro is the competitive hourly wage.

ConsFavoritism, nepitism, micromanagment, unrealistic sales goals, lack of sales integrity, unprofessionalism, stressful.

Advice to Senior ManagementI worked at the Wells Fargo Salt Lake City call center for a little over a year. If you like being made to feel like crap everyday, this is the place for you. Micromanagement! Microminagement, micromanagement! Rude staff, unrealistic sales goals, unrealistic QA expectations. There is constant badgering about average handle time, referral rates and sales goals. They will lie to get you to sell their unethical products (high monthly mantainence fees and interest rates etc.)and expect you to do the same with your customers. They say that their sales tactics are needs based but that is far from the truth. They will push any product on any customer just to get the sale. The bosses' commissions depend on employee performance but instead of buliding you up, they put you down every chance they get and nothing is ever good enough. Employees are threatened almost everyday of being fired and told that they would end up "working for McDonald's." The hourly wage is descent but the bonus structure is awful. They will do whatever it takes to keep you from your bonus, even fail you on a QA for nonsense. Stay away from this job!!!

I have been working at Wells Fargo as a contractor for more than a year

ProsThere are some really creative and helpful people in leadership

ConsThis has a lot of positives but it can also mean that if you have what I have heard referred to as an "unfortunate learning experience," in one location, traveling to another will not necessarily leave you free to make a new impression.
