    Pros

Treated their employees very well with money and food.

    Cons

They will hire anyone who is a friend of a friend of a friend. Hard to get in without knowing someone.

    Advice to Management

Just because your son/daughter or sons/daughters friends are in the relevant field, doesnt mean they should be hired.

    Pros

The people are friendly. My boss was a great guy. As a beginning and a newcomer, I was welcomed and the staff in the marketing department were helpful and friendly.

    Cons

It's a corp, so everything has to be approved and this and that all the way up the ladder.

    Advice to Management

Play some music in the office. It sounds like a morgue.

    Pros

Given a lot of responsibility. This is great if you are a self-starter looking to gain experience like I am. Luckily this was noticed by my manager and I was able to advance.

    Cons

Some of the new direction the management was taking was not for me. Felt like a much bigger company with a lot of bureaucracy. It was a better place to work when it had a more family feel.

    Advice to Management

Slow down on the bureaucracy. Yes, you need to implement policies and procedures, but you don't need to do it by layering a ton of extra work on your employees. And you can do it without getting rid of the small company feel that you had when corporate was in El Paso.
