    Throw Me Under the bus

Desktop Support (Former Employee) Chicago, IL (US)

ProsThey hired me and liked my resume and background

ConsThey are more willing to please the client than there employees

They bascially allowed a client a small private marketing company to fire me for a complaint from an employee of the client that was just power tripping. They basically sat back and threw me under the bus without any fight what so ever.

    Its a blood sucker company.

Senior Software Engineer (Former Employee) Buffalo Grove, IL (US)

ProsNone. There are no pros. You will loose you family life and family will start loosing you. Horrible company!!!!

ConsHave so many good policies but they use all wrong way to harass employee. Unnecessarily keep employees in pressure with bonds and long notice period so that you cant jump to the next company.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop exploiting employees by saying good job and gaining money on peoples blood.

Less pay, Employee policies worst in industry, under usage of right resources.

Technical Lead (Current Employee) Chicago, IL (US)

    ProsNo reason as of now.

ConsAll employee benefits have been cut off. Maximum leave accrual has been restricted per year. Insurance plans offered are very costly to employee(mostly cheaper for employer).
No proper utilization of resources for assignments.
Excessive work pressure on employees, unsatisfied customers.

Advice to Senior ManagementCompare your employee policies with competitors and make employees happy which might get back this company in race.
Stop cheap cost cutting like keeping a cap on maximum leave accrual and giving costlier insurance plans.

    Progression and Increment is circle

Senior Project Manager (Current Employee) Chicago, IL (US)

ProsWipro brand own by Azim premji ...(aka APR ).. one of the best personality in India who is IT Mugal ..Philanthropist. Social Work. Sprit of Wipro...

    2. Onsite Opportunity, Lower bench period. Salary on time .Good process for

ConsToo much managerial Hierarchy, People In and People Out . You need to know minimum 5 yrs to know the entire wipro functioning .
Very Low annual increment till 2010 – 11 computation growth was 7%-12%( Low – High) , Now the growth rates are 3%- 4%. Manager control everything.

No connect above 2 layer of managerial hierarchy. You are Lucky if you get good manager and his manager to connect .. With good technical knowledge and Managerial skills. Some manager act funny.
Every Employee has at list 4 manager, Account manager, project manager , Delivery manager and Ted manager .
Forget promotion. If you are hardworking, they don't give promotion. If you have political mind and if you can influence and prove your manager with some other skills then you have a chances.

Poor Training , if you are looking for learning new skills , Forget about new skill . Some time you will forget even your basic skill , if you are team lead and above .

Most of the core jobs were done by rookies and college fresher’s . Poor quality of deliverables and coding quality .

You have to go through lots of online courses, which has no relevance on your daily project task .

Advice to Senior ManagementTraining , Training , Ttraining , Please invest resource time atleast 12.5% on Training of over all 87.5% of billability .

Management should think why CTS , HCL , INFY has better edge than Wipro .

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
