I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Work life balance is great. Management is very understanding of family life issues. They pay $4000 per year for education.
Cons – Benefits, raises are a joke. Upward mobility only if you are on someone's good side, not based off your abilities.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Recognized Fortune 500 company. Technology products are the best in the industry
Cons – Due to the continuing downsizing of employees across the board, it is hard to do the core responsibilities of the job you were hired to do. Basically employees have to do the work of 4-5 employees (the ones who are no longer there). Low morale due to constant IVIF's. The only employees who make money or get raises are the executives (VP's and above). Really sad as it was a great place to work.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop working remaining employees to death due to constant laying people off. Try reducing senior level positions, and perhaps not taking bonuses while you laying off employees. Grow revenues by selling product, vs using reduced SAG to impact revenue

I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Somewhat flexible work schedule, ability to work from home, minimal travel requirements. Have some benefits that can help first-time home buyers.
Cons – Management has absolutely no accountability for their results. Very top-down driven, and due to no changes at the upper and middle management levels, no innovation is the result. Benefits continue to decline.
Advice to Senior Management – Need to get fresh blood and fresh ideas, obviously having the same people in upper and middle management has not worked so far.

I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Value a strong work/life balance, pay is very competetive for the area although that is slowly changes with no raises for years, managers treat you fairly and truly seem to want to help you, or put you in a position, to succeed.
Cons – Layoffs occuring all of the time. Numbers of each layoff are kept low to avoid reporting, but a constant. I see different groups hit a couple of time a month. No job security and, as with the rest of the US business, instead of sharing success with the employees, leaders and deep-pocketed investors are the only ones rewarded
Advice to Senior Management – Start realizing - as most companies did back in the 50's, 60's, 70's and early 80's, that long term success is dependent on sharing prosperity and rewarding employees instead of treating them as nothing more than a line on the balance sheet.

I have been working at Xerox full-time for more than a year
Pros – Coworkers have a wealth of knowledge, Competitive Salary, Decent Training before putting you on the phone.
Cons – No chance for upward mobility. Corporate Culture is damaged. Lots of Racism/Bigotry. Company insists on keeping staff who are damaging the company, and will let good staff go. Company runs afoul of labor laws including Title VII and CT laws. The management plays favoritism with staff, certain staff will continuously get bonuses while other top performing staff get nothing, or gets written up.
Advice to Senior Management – Actually do performance reviews instead of giving all the employees the same grade and comments.

I worked at Xerox full-time for less than a year
Pros – Company atmosphere on behalf of xerox was positive. Training was well done; trainers were very supportive and kept employees well informed. Tech Support Reps are open and willing to help you as well. Floor walkers were integral.
Cons – Sprint was not forthcoming about towers down to customers; created some difficult calls. Some supervisors are unwilling to do their job and have foul language, but the floorwalkers are great replacements.
