I worked at Zara full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Learning about managment, time mgt, staff mgt as per international standard

    Cons

Politics and HR specially Gunjan sardana she just speak without using her mind ( always demotivate the staff ) and senior mgt team are dumb. Not good in taking decision. No reatil KPI LEARNING.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow up, keep your attitude aside and start giving respect to lower mgt to get your work done on time. Fair treatment is not there, as we use to discuss in zara. Good for customers but not for staff as attrition rate is pretty high try to work on it.

I have been working at Zara

    Pros

City Weighting (If you work in central London, they help you pay a bit towards your travel cost)
Commission (store based performance, not individual)
    Discounts on all Inditiex company
    Easy to progress

    Cons

A lot to learn in the beginning, training is done straight on the shopfloor or cash desk
If you're a cashier there's too many superiors to answer or listen to (leads to miscommunication)
Base pay per hour is average
    Hard to get hours sometimes

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are too many managers and supervisors to answer to, this makes it very difficult for sales assistant and cashiers to make sure that informations are dealt in the most efficient and accurate way. There is also the problem with the wages system, there's no cut off date to count your hours by per month so it's hard to accurately estimate your pay even though we get paid on the same date every month.
The commission system is also not very well explained by HR or managers so you never know how much we're supposed to be getting.
