Former Employee – worked at comScore full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Growing company. Owns a key niche of the web measurement economy. Long term employment for some.
Cons – Yikes - where to start?
1) People are not ethical - lie to customers, etc.
2) Cut throat environment encouraged. One story of top level exec "cheating the system" and selling outside territories to fill their own pockets with commission
3) Unhealthy cliques throughout organization
4) Nepotism - CEO favors family members, etc.
I was warned before joining that I would be confronted with unethical people. They were right!
Advice to Senior Management – Don't be afraid to innovate - you're using decade old tech. Spend more on R&D

Current Employee – been working at comScore full-time for more than a year
Pros – Most coworkers are very smart, a lot to learn from them; laid back work environment
Cons – Transfer people from team to team frequently, I know it's because of young company's flexibility.. but you can only say so when you're not the one who got transferred; low pay, long hours
Advice to Senior Management – no

Former Employee – worked at comScore full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Great product, niche market for the products and services that they offer. Incredibly valuable to customers, and companies that utilize comScore data to make business decisions. Very much a self-directed work environment, not alot of clock watching from management. Easy to move up the ranks in some groups. They love to promote from within.
Cons – Management can be a little overbearing at times, from the top down. CEO is a bit of a control freak, "smartest guy in the room" syndrome, though often he is. Internal promotion is nice, but historically had not always been based on merit as much as tenure and as a retention tool.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep innovating, remember what made you successful as a small company. CEO needs to release the reigns in many areas. Delegate better.
