The Emergency Medicine physician will see patients in a 14 bed Emergency Department that sees 19,000 visits annually. Responsibilities include evaluating, stabilizing and diagnosing patients in the Emergency Room.Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.Required QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine or General Surgery.
