Have you considered becoming a Health Economic consultant at the world's number one pharmaceutical services company?

An American biotech company has recently received European marketing authorization for an innovative medicine for the treatment of patients with severe rheumatoid arthritis. Before initiating the launch of their product in the European countries they need advise how to optimally price their drug and a strategy how to seek funding from health insurers for this treatment.

The position

It could be your job to advise this client. You will need to develop a core health economic model, and present this model to our client and discuss how the results of this model could assist them in the acceptance of their product by healthcare decision makers in the different countries. You oversee its adaptation to reflect each local health care setting, and liaise with national key opinion leaders and health economists to get their support to seek funding from health insurers for this treatment.

As health economic consultant you will be working in a dynamic international team that is expanding due to unprecedented growth of the business. This position will keep you challenged and allow you to develop your skills and grow your expertise in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Your profile:

· Postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in Health Economics or equivalent.

· Experience with cost-effectiveness modeling methods, including programming such models

· Familiar with literature research and systematic reviews.

· Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet programming (e.g. Visual Basic), decision-analytical modeling, database mining and Microsoft Office applications

· Good English verbal and written communication skills

• Sound knowledge of survey methodology, statistical analysis and reporting, decision analysis techniques, database analysis methods and technical writing.
