Benefits are alright, perks could use a facelift
Meager benefit offerings, perks are really the people
Obviously the ability to travel is the best benefit they have to offer. Room/board, food, and all travel is covered and plenty of time off to travel on your own.
There is no paid vacation or time off. You don’t work, you don’t get paid. The benefits (medical, dental, vision) are expensive and are not good. They do not have any other benefits. They do not have bonus or incentives. Your pay rate is all you will receive. Also, know that you will work LONG hours with little to no time off. They do offer food to the employees BUT it is slop. It is not even close to what the passengers eat. There is very little variation and almost no healthy options. The window of time to eat is very short. Many employees miss it or if you are not one of the first there, the will run out. This is a HUGE issue for a lot of the employees.
Have to be full time for insurance
It's a high standard benefits provide by American cruiseline.. all over the world.
Nothing I see as a bad thing about it
They have very outstanding perks, 401(k) health insurance, and a lot more they just keep on improving in every aspect. They want to assure their employees That they do matter. They also offer a lot of benefits which are perks as well like stock options job training paid holidays performance bonuses and much more did I even say that they provide free snacks and food. That’s a win-win.
