There are lots of member benefits at Coles. These include member discount on any in-store purchase, up to 5%, 4 weeks paid annual leave, sick leave and maternity leave.
5% discount in store, and 10$ discount in Christmas period. I also got discount from fitness first because I am customer service in Coles.
Best thing is the culture, and there is no worse thing about it.
Working at the checkout was painless most of the time except on long days, training was excellent with alot of detail, although individual managers may vary, everyone else who worked there was in your shoes at one point so theres alot of leniency depending on what store you work at. All and all great place for a first job
At the head office there is always room for growth including the ability to move around in the organisation. Above all the best thing is their inclusion and non-discrimative regulations put in place.

Pay is very good, but expectation of hours worked has negative impact on work life balance. Pay does not outweigh expectation of hours worked.
Benefits for full time employees and contractors are different I guess. Full time workers can benefit a discount at coles supermarkets.
