EMC had insurance covered including parents up to 5 lac without any additional pay. Increasing it to 15 lac used to cost another INR 10,000 additional. No Co-Pay After the merger with Dell, parents insurance coverage has been removed. Employees contribute on their own to some self/crowd/employee funding kind of stuff as the insurance covered isn't enough. For parents insurance coverage, a premium of 58000 is to be paid for an additional 10 lakh insurance coverage, which is too high and not employee-friendly. There is a CoPay introduced of 20% and higher for parents.
