Dear All, In our endeavor to streamline policies, we have made the following amendments to the existing Leave Policy with effect from 1st April 2016. What is changing? 1) The maximum number of Earned leaves that can be accumulated has been changed from an earlier 50 leaves to 30 leaves.. 2) All employees that have an earned leave balance of more than 30 as of 31st March, 2016 will be paid the encasement on the basis of basic pay along with scheduled Payroll cycle of April 2016. 3) All accumulated earned leaves can be adjusted in the notice period or enchased as per the rules at the time of superannuation / exit. The computation of the same would be on the basis of basic pay. 4) Going forward Earned Leave may be carried forward across leave years and accumulated up to a maximum of 30 days only. Any accrual of earned leave in excess of 30 days shall automatically lapse at the end of that particular leave year. Additionally, the following rules should be kept in mind when you apply for any of the below categories of leaves. Medical fitness certificate should be endorsed from a MD/MBBS Doctor. · Earned leaves cannot be combined with Sick Leaves(SL) or Casual Leaves(CL). · CL & SL application should be applied / updated with-in 7 calendar days from the leave date. If in case employee is unable to apply through ESS, immediate Supervisor will need to update on behalf of a team member in ESS. The rest of the terms of the policy remains the same.
