A lot of emphasis is put in policies around Vacation and paid time off during emergencies.
More number of public holidays than any other location. More paid leaves for VP and above. They track for employee safety.
Substantial vacation days but workload does not permit taking that many days off.
20 days per annum may not be enough at times
If things are more or less on track and your leave doesn't clash with someone else's, you can take a good vacation. Sick days are not counted. Work from home is pretty flexible.
GS provides for easy breakup of the Vacation time
Good to spend quality time with your family. Sometimes you get call when you are on vacation which is annoying.
Every employee in different divisions have to take a paid vacaation for a min of 10 days at a stretch in a year as per the forms Compliance policy.
