Maternity Leave - All women employees who have worked continuously for a period of at least 80 days during 12 months immediately preceding the date of her expected date of delivery are entitled to receive maternity benefit of a total of 26 weeks of paid leave, whether taken before or after childbirth. However the employee cannot take leaves more than six weeks before her expected date of delivery.
A women employee is entitled to further avail one month of paid extended maternity leave after completion of Maternity leave in case of illness arising out of pregnancy / delivery, premature birth of a child etc.
Paternity Leave - A male employee is eligible for 5 working days of paid paternity leave for the birth of his child. A formal communication along with documentary evidence is to be submitted to the reporting manager.
The best thing is that we are allowed to take paternity leave even to those who are working at client office.HCL takes care of our relievers for the site
Good to continue benefit is good but not very charming package but all good for a fresher
Best thing is that Maternity Leave is for 6 Months and Worst thing is that Paternity Leave for 9 days only.
Its good that they provide such leaves.
