Flexible working is a huge benefit as it allows you to speak with your managers and let them know if you are unable to work at a certain time on a certain day due to something important, they may therefore give you a start time that is suitable for yourself on that particular day, allowing you to juggle work and personal life
Plenty of work, a lot of people try to trade closing/opening shifts for mid-day shifts and all the Wetherspoons I've seen and been to have been desperately understaffed. there are always hours going - in terms of 'life outside of work,' you won't really have one. 9+ hour shifts are common, not to mention they ask you to stay on so there's that, (no matter what time you may have work the next day, they always try and cheat the "12-hour break between shifts")
it has ok benefits but more available to senior staff then to all staff such asataff housing

The hours could generally be changed/allowed for as long as you asked within 2 weeks or found cover.
Shifts can be moved around which is great when you are a student and need the flexibility for studying
Best part is the half off food when you’re working long shifts.

Can do between 4 to over 40 hours, depending on your availability
work social life balance will never be perfect but its pub that closes at 2am so meh i guess. just make sure you give 6 weeks notice for holiday days and if you want a day time only job this will never be avlaible and if you do get only day shifts know that most of the staff will resent you
