Upto a couple of days, its ok. but any kind of leave in general is scrutinized
you can get leave in case of serious injury but in simple health issue you willnot get holidays for several days.
Sick leave is 7 days a year which is very less, and which is not easily approved too. Sometimes people are asked to work with sickness
unlimited if your really sick/hospitalised
Sick leave was not properly evaluated if you are good to boss then you may get a sick leave even when you're partying in Thailand. Thats the one which hurt me the most.
We used to get sufficient sick leaves according to the sickness as we used to work very hard when there is work beyond working hours

Sick leave can be applied in case of genuine illness irrespective of number of days of absence the same will be given as paid leave on receipt of approval from senior management and medical officer
Only 7 days sick leave is allowed. Extended only on request at the production of valid documents
Common rule followed, nothing extra ordinary
