The priority is on growing their account base and increasing revenue from existing accounts. They may be expected to meet certain sales quotas.

Logistics account executives typically have at least a high school diploma, although additional education or training is a plus. They generally have experience in sales, and a background in B2B sales is helpful. They must have excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver a persuasive sales pitch.
