What does a Resident Manager do?

Resident managers are assistants or general managers who reside at a hotel or rental property and oversee its maintenance and budget, train employees, and assist and address issues that arrive at the site. They help new tenants while moving in, resolve tenant disputes, enforce relevant building rules, and collect rents to deliver to management. Resident managers are often on call for emergencies and need experience with building maintenance, utilities, and landscaping.

They resolve tenant disputes, including noise complaints and relevant concerns to all parties’ satisfaction and perform light maintenance and landscaping.
