What are the different consulting groups in McKinsey? Seems like there’s generalist, digital, and implementation?

How hard is it to get a transfer to BCG SF from a smaller office (not in the West system) after a year of tenure as a consultant? My performance has been good so far and I think it’ll be the same for my upcoming CDC as well. I want to talk to my CDA about a transfer by EOY. I lived in SF before for five years and the reason I want to move back is because I am realizing that I just enjoy being in SF a lot more (friends/lifestyle/weather). Has anyone successfully done this and any advice?
Hi All - I desperately need help with something. I was an ex management consultant and recently lost my job. I have been getting decent number of calls but am having a lot of trouble converting them past the 2nd or 3rd round. My struggle is with structured communication, thinking on the spot, being to structure my response whilst thinking (I have ADHD - not severe though). Continued in comments
Mainly two categories: Integrative and Expert track. You can be an expert in either an industry or function (operations, digital, finance etc.)
No difference in salaries at parallel levels but slight differences in progression. Expert track progresses slower but in turn you have more time to meet McKinsey expectations
Operations? Or maybe its just a vertical within generalist track
