I worked at ACH of America for more than a year

Pros

A small family business environment that takes pride in helping their clients to better manage their business administrative services needs. Generally, a friendly environment of mainly women and... mostly male leadership. Average pay expectations and decent benefits package. Cross-training encouraged.

Cons

Family business bias is less corporate in performance expectations. Poor communications standards means you have to work to figure out who's doing what and when. Some departments have... micromanaging tendencies and not open to critique.

Advice to Management

Great concept and philosophy. Improve departmental communications and listen to your staff when they have concerns about how things are being managed.

I have been working at Advance Financial full-time for less than a year

Pros

I have been treated like I was a part of the team since day one. They have made sure I had everything I needed. never worked at a company like this before so I wasn't sure how it'd go. they also have... paid healthcare (which was a huge expense before I started here. even though I never used it)! They also have fooda, and I can't cook so I don't even have to leave work to run out and grab food.

Cons

I wish they'd lighten up on the dress code. I guess I get it though because they want us to act professional.

Advice to Management

jeans can look nice too - at least on fridays and the weekends this would a huge boost to us who don't have a ton of business clothes. otherwise everything is awesome.
