"Nice Company"10 Jan 2021

Current Employee - Staff RN

I have been working at Acts Retirement-Life Communities part-time for more than a year

Pros

Friendly colleagues, nice facility, decent pay

Cons

The company is a good place to work. It does feel like a community and a benefit is getting to know most of the colleagues. The only downside is that it sometimes seems that there is already a plan... for positions, promotions etc. It is a great place to gain experience and knowledge about retirement communities.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Aldersgate United Methodist Retirement Community full-time for more than a year

Pros

Friendly community. Management and employees are friendly. The residents are also kind. Good food. Excellent PTO scale.

Cons

Growth and development may be an issue for ambitious individuals looking to climb the career ladder compared to other organizations. Depending on your salary, benefits may be expensive.

Advice to Management

Communicate with employees to understand issues that affect the overall likability of their jobs.
