QA knit picking every little thing you do or say, Supervisors are not on the same page, they don't allow you to ask questions. It's sit down, don't say anything and do your job. When it's wrong you... get told to correct it. Asking for time off or to use PTO time is way harder than it needs to be have to go through 4 different people and systems. They use antiquated technology and then penalize you for being off the phones while calling IT to fix computer issues that are beyond your control. The list can go on for miles.
Advice to Management
Your Supervisors, need to be willing to answer questions, assist in any way, answer emails, etc.. Especially new hires. It's better to have someone ask you a question so they can do something right... the first time than to let them do it wrong and expect them to fix it after. That is counterproductive and costly for the company in the long run. Learn to prevent problems before they start. Every person is different. Not all people work, grow and learn from a sink or swim environment. Being told to more or less sit down, don't ask questions and do your job, is creating an abusive and hostile work environment. Be careful with that. That could potentially cause loss of employment and worse a lawsuit. Make sure your supervisors are trained to live and work in this day and age. Those old school mentalities will not help your company grow. Everyone, all managers, supervisors, trainers need to be on the same page as far as procedure goes. Not every supervisor allowed to do things however they want.
