I have been working at Austin Fraser full-time
People, Culture, Focus, Vision, Commission structure, Accessibility, Healthy competition
Lengthy but necessary training and interview process
I worked at Roc Search full-time for more than 3 years
Came in as a trainee and the support, progression and commission that I was made aware of at interview came to fruition. 3 promotions in 2 years, good commission, great memories from incentives that... were hit and an all expenses paid holiday! Yes, recruitment and sales in general is tough, but if you work hard, the rewards are absolutely there for you. Roc were always supportive to me when I needed help, and they gave me great guidance throughout my career. I'm quite surprised to see some of the negative comments here as the business were always encouraging and made it a fun place to work. Although I've moved on (relocation) I have great memories and vouch for Roc being a great place to work. People are absolutely entitled to their own opinions, and it can indeed be really difficult when someone leaves for whatever reason - sales is tough, but a lot of the negativity commented on does seem to be quite harsh and bitter. There are great people running and working there - they wouldn't have come out of the pandemic in as good shape as they did if this wasn't the case.
Sales is a pressurised and challenging environment to work within, so I did on occasions have to work late. Just to put in to context however - always my own decision to do so, and not anywhere near... as much as people suggest (perhaps maybe once or twice a week I'd stick around for about an hour extra.)
Advice to Management
I felt they did a good job of it whilst I was there, and particularly during the pandemic, communication was really good. A couple of the junior staff felt they were not always aware of certain... policies / events etc, but that's all of the constructive things I can suggest. Keep supporting and encouraging the team. Best of luck guys!
