Former Employee - Former Territory Sales Manager

I worked at Brown-Forman full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

1. Wonderful stability between personal and professional life. 2. Necessary perks offered by the company, adding to employee basic requirements and satisfaction. 3. Strong Leadership, especially... Sidharth, Vineet, Vishwanath, Pravin and Kapil. People who clearly knows how to maintain reputation of Brown Forman in Indian economy. 4. Diversity - Male is to Female ratio is very well managed and maintained. 5. Strong Human Resources which is very hard to find d nowadays. Backbone of BF, India. 6. Very diplomatic and flexible strategies to match the changes in economy of India. 7. Lastly Good salary structures, which are motivating. 8. Extraordinary whiskies better than any whisky or whiskies sold in India. Very strong flavors with ge uine historical background. 9. This is the only company which does not waste or throw money in the market. They exactly know how to maintain the top and bottom line. 10. They have got very attractive marketing tools.

Cons

There are some challenges; 1. No domestic brands for cross delegation of budgets 2. Smaller margins related to cost cards 3. Small portfolio 4. A little less budgets to match the other... liquor players which is acceptable most of the times. 5. Less presence in the banquets operations of the industry but this more related to consumer education and awareness. Brown Forman as a company is doing good to create a solid space.

Advice to Management

1. Do not try to be no.1, just try to be consistent. Keep following the same. It's more important to stay in the race instead of heading the race.
