Featured Review

Current Employee - Assistant Professor

I have been working at Concordia University of Edmonton full-time

Pros

You meet a different kind of student that often get overlooked by other institutions.

Cons

Faculty are asked to teach 4 classes a semester and maintain a research portfolio while getting paid at some of the lowest rates in the province. The separation between staff, faculty, and... administration is absurd considering the size of the institution.

Advice to Management

The biggest problem at Concordia is faculty workload. This institution will go nowhere until faculty are teaching fewer classes to fewer students.

Former Employee - Customer Experience Representative

I worked at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology part-time for less than a year

Pros

Accommodating to school schedules, relaxing for most of the school year, decent pay.

Cons

Short and infrequent shifts, start of school year extremely busy.
