Featured Review

Current Employee - Senior Account Executive

I have been working at Experience Commerce full-time for less than a year

Pros

Scope of growth is high, lots to learn

Cons

Always on culture, inefficient management processes

Former Employee - Recruitment Consultant

I worked at Investigo full-time for more than a year

Pros

varied mix of personalities across the company, gets involved with charity and keys issues like mental health, International Womens' day, offers conferences/seminars to clients and internal staff,... good marketing tools that are not conventional to the recruitment industry. Good opportunity to learn from them (but in the hard way). Fun social culture, no pressure to drink, respect for work life balance.

Cons

Too competitive between employees, lack of team work, favouritism within the management staff. They say they are a diverse employer, but some managers seem to favour the "stereotype" of recruitment... within teams. Know too many people within the BAME community to leave with the same feeling. Unclear policies where it works for some employees and not for others depending if they like you or not - i.e. probation rules, targets, working from home, flexibility around hours worked.

Advice to Management

Make sure everyone has the same opportunity to grow and stop spoon feeding to the "favourites" of the team. Better support across the board.
