Simplicity and humility lie at the essence of all that is done at the firm. The stated objective of the firm to be the 'BMW of the analytics industry' is a worthy ideal to aspire to and everyone is... doing their best to contribute to this. Free food, unlimited WFH, and a completely flat hierarchy are things which might seem common today, but Fractal has been doing most of it for well over a decade now.
Growing pains are a part of any organization's growth and Fractal is no different. While there are team-specific flaws, especially in some of the large-sized projects that tend to be disorganized,... the firm as a whole is on the right track. There are no drastic cons as such that can be mentioned here.
Advice to Management
Tenured employees are the soul of the organization and the torch-bearers of the culture that has been handed down by the founders. Without us, Fractal devolves into 'just another MNC', with a... revolving door for employees to come and go. We see lateral employees join the firm with big hikes, and then leave within 2-3 years. It is my humble request to Senior Management, to ensure that hard-working tenured employees receive that little bit extra each year (without the need to plead with their managers) that keeps their morale high. This may not be mentioned openly, but poaching attempts from clients are rampant, and eventually loyal employees do cave in when there is no choice left.
