I worked at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center

Pros

I loved the environment and the division I worked in. Everyone was helpful and invested in me building my career. Great place for young researchers to start off at!

Cons

Hard to move outside of division. Everything is very very siloed.

Former Intern - Internship

I worked at CRY - Child Rights and You for less than a year

Pros

I did my internshhip under Dilshaad Hossain Ma'am for 4 weeks with CRY, Kolkata. In the field work, I got a chance to teach unprivileged children through PAG(Public Action Group) and also I did... office work by preparing case studies related to legal aspects of the workings of CRY. I was assigned in CRY's KATHA MODULE where I taught children in a classroom setting. Here, I learnt to be disciplined towards my work. I never felt boredom and pressure for doing any work of this internship. For this, I'm really thankful to Dilshaad ma'am for guiding me in such a way so that I felt great in doing the whole internship. Besides, in CRY's 0ffice we could order food and have there itself and the office environment was very good and everyone was humble.

Cons

I couldn't find any downsides during my internship.
