Current Employee - Commercial Lines Underwriter

I have been working at Aviva Canada full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Excellent culture, systems have significantly improved, forward thinking, respectful of underwriters, flexible work environment, ability to work from home, work/life balance, lots of opportunities... for advancement.

Cons

Pay is not competitive with industry standards, a lot of changes can be good but sometimes they're difficult to keep up with

Advice to Management

If you increased compensation, a lot more employees would stay.
