Current Employee - Business Development Specialist

I have been working at Seismic full-time for less than a year

Pros

I started at Seismic about a year ago and everyone I've met or worked with has been helpful, motivated, and professional. Colleagues (even from different departments) are always open to taking time... out of their day to help and support you. You can tell that everyone truly cares about the success of others, as well as the organization as a whole. Seismic employees are well-connected and very active in professional groups and in the world of Tech and Sales Enablement. As a young employee, that allows me to network and continue to grow professionally. Leadership from the top down. I feel confident in their abilities, experience, knowledge, and decision-making abilities. When COVID hit, leadership stepped up to the plate and adjusted our strategy without having to fire or furlough anyone. Which says a lot about the security of working at Seismic. The office is great at hosting happy hours, holiday celebrations, company-wide events, service opportunities, and lunches every once in a while. Nitro Cold Brew on tap.

Cons

I think there could of been better support as people transitioned to WFH. It would be nice to be reimbursed for better wifi or a desk.

Advice to Management

As we scale, continue to be transparent as you have been - it makes your employees feel included and valued.
