Pros

In tough Indian retail market Metro made profit for continuous 2 years because of vision and focus of leadership on efficiency. Also with the launch of e-commerce it is moving in the right direction... to cater to Kiranas across all channels.

Cons

It is in transformation phase in terms of IT systems, so you need to have patience. But it is also a good learning opportunity too.

Advice to Management

Continue the focus on efficiency driven by IT system deployment to standardize the processes across departments (specifically operations).
