Current Intern - Software Developer

I have been working at SKIM for less than a year

Pros

1- Very less work strain. 2- Saturday and Sunday holiday

Cons

1- Projects aren't so great. 2- Pay must be increased.

Advice to Management

I would advice them to hire more employees and develop more products. The products developed are very limited.

Former Contractor - QA Lead

I worked at Imgur for more than a year

Pros

Good overall. All are connected through slack and handout/zoom meetings. Remote work is kind of good and you get the flexibility to work in your convenient time.

Cons

You will be thrown out if you forgot to mention that you weren't well and hence the performance went down. There isn't option for you to give feedback about Dev or your own team incase you work... remotely. You are good as long as you give your 100% daily but incase you miss anyday and give your 70% you will be layed off.

Advice to Management

Give feedback to improve and warning before laying off anybody suddenly. Everybody works for a commitment to fulfill or anything so it's always better to give a warning saying " your performance is... going down. If it continues for another month you will layed off."
