Featured Review

Current Employee - Delivery Manager

I have been working at The Very Group part-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Full of friendly and professional people, always there to help each other and do the best for our colleagues and customers

Cons

Can’t think of any at the moment!!!

Current Employee - Merchandise Assistant

I have been working at Missguided full-time for more than a year

Pros

Pros were the location, staff discount and the office building.

Cons

The lack of experience within senior members of staff on how to manage with compassion & teach others is shocking. Rather than give their time & talk things through they resort to bullying... and bitchiness when things don't go the way they want. I am appalled to hear how some of the staff spoke about others appearances when the company ethos is focused around body positivity. Working at this company is not good for your mental health, you are constantly expected to work long shifts under stressful regimes, brought on by scatty management. HR is not approachable about any of these issues as they are friends with those who have been accused of bullying behaviour.

Advice to Management

Learn how to work with compassion, share your experience and take time to support your staff. Treating people like this takes just as much time as it does for you to belittle and bully someone so why... not be the better person.
