Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at US Marine Corps full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Special Duty Assignments, Medical, Dental, Retirement, 30 days of vacation a year, Advancement Opportunities. Latmoving Oppurtunities. Highest standards and levels of accountability of the five... military services. Paid skills training, and a nice uniform.

Cons

Having to obey stupid orders, chain smoking and binge drinking culture, stress, Unintelligent Leaders, Risk of Death. OCONUS members face mass punishment for actions of others.

Advice to Management

Mass punishment dosen't solve anything, just leads to disgruntled service members that in turn do not want to stay in.
