Current Employee - Business Development

I have been working at WGSN full-time for less than a year

Pros

I have absolutely loved how welcoming everyone has been, how many people are willing to help you learn and feel really lucky to be part of the team. The coaching and training so far has been... invaluable and the WGSN content is fantastic which means that you are always learning and always developing. WGSN really helps business, so I feel we are all doing something here that has a huge impact. We are currently going through Covid-19 restrictions and all having to work from home, but the team and management have made sure that we are all connected and look out for each other, which is hugely reassuring.

Cons

As of yet, no real downsides, apart from being at home and doing a lot of training alone, but that has nothing to do with the company, so it's not a con.

Advice to Management

Continue with the great coaching, motivation and connecting with the team. So far, so good :)

I worked at i2i Events

Pros

I had a fantastic time at i2i, I was given all the support that I needed when starting out but was quickly allowed to take control of my own work. Everyone was lovely and supportive regardless of... which event they worked on. This carried through to the social aspects where HR and the social committee were very active and encouraged socialising throughout the whole company.

Cons

The only downside to this internship is the low pay. Whilst it is good that it is paid at all it is barely a livable wage in London so you may need some of your own money saved to support you during... these three months. However, the low pay should not put you off of applying here as the company makes up for it in many other ways.
